This all natural soap made of pure plant and flower oils, honey and charcoal, smells just like it's main ingredients; Rose, Calamine and charcoal. You can really smell the charcoal which I imagine would be good for drawing out impurities from the skin. Calamine is known to calm down irritation. The box comes with a folded up black organza bag, but there's nothing between the soap and the bag so there is a lot of soap residue on the outside, I tried to take a picture with my hand underneath so hopefully it is visible in the photo. It wouldn't make for a very nice presentation for a gift. I'm not sure it's worth it to most people to soak soap off of an oganza gift bag and dry it. Just thought I'd make a note of it if you're planning on giving it as a gift. You don't really need to put it into the bag for the gift though, it comes in a cute box. The color of my soap varied from the colors in the listing pictures or from other reviewers which is par for the course for natural handmade soaps. You can look forward to your own unique blend. The rose design on the outside of the soap is a pretty detail.

Everything about this soap is so thought-filled, lovely and luxurious. The box was just perfect. The soap looks like a tiny cake! The roses are so ornate. I almost felt guilty using the soap, but the smell was just so incredible! I usually feel quite sensitive after trying new soaps. So far so good and I have not even needed lotion after using this in the shower! The smell is so bright without being overpowering and headache inducing (even natural scents like my flower garden can induce headaches so I was surprised here!) Great little soap, I started using it for my armpits that had a small flare-up of eczema and got irritated with new deodorant. I was trying creams and calamine, and this was gentle enough of my irritated skin. Now I use it to exfoliate my face gently and I have no problems either.
