I liked this better than I expected. The peppermint is noticeable right away and gives that cooling lip balm feel, but it is not too strong. It feels refreshing without crossing into that burning mint territory. The texture is smooth and easy to apply. It has more slip than a dry waxy balm, which I prefer. My lips felt softer after using it, and it did a decent job keeping them from getting dry again too fast. I also noticed a slight sheen on the lips from it. Not glittery, just a little bit of shimmer. The scent is mostly peppermint to me. I did not really pick up much pomegranate beyond maybe a little sweetness in the background.
